Oh, how I would love to work for such a brave person… instead I work in an extremely Politically Correct college, and sometimes I am soooooo tired of it… oh well, one can’t get everything… but it is good to know that wise and brave people are still alive in Education.

Shirley: Maria is always more than willing to show you how to do something or where to find something. She is very quick on her feet and greets everyone in a very friendly and welcoming way. She is amazing!
Kate: Maria is a vital asset to the Santa Rosa Junior College-Petaluma Campus. She has given so much to the Administration Office and other departments on campus. She is a powerhouse and we are lucky to have her!!!!!
Jo: Maria bring energy, enthusiasm, and an extra ten miles every day to our office. She’s a valued colleague!
Michele: She has helped me, as an STNC in a very fast-paced and demanding position, to feel welcome with any questions. I had no training and Maria has been the most help!
Kathleen: I started as the AA for College Skills (Maria’s old position) back in February. Although it is no longer her job, she has continued to help me and this department way more than required of her. She is an amazing asset to this college and more than worthy of this recognition.
Beth and Rocio: Maria is the heart and soul of our Tutorial Center. Even though she no longer works directly with us, she uses her own time to help us out. For example, Maria makes monthly trip to Costco to supply our snack bar. She is always ready to share her knowledge and experience with all. Maria is a true gem who brings joy to our lives.
